Beltane for Self Empowerment

Beltane is a holiday that celebrates the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. It is a time when nature is flourishing, and the earth is bursting with new life.

It's a celebration of fertility, sexuality, and the coming of summer. It is a time for honoring the union between the god and goddess, and for celebrating the abundance and beauty of nature. The festival is marked by bonfires, feasting, dancing, and the wearing of flower crowns.

It is also a time for self-empowerment, growth, and transformation.

Here are some ways you can use the Beltane season for your own self-empowerment:

  1. Connect with nature: Spend time outdoors and connect with the natural world. Take a walk in the woods, sit under a tree, plant a garden, take your shoes off and place your feet on the earth. Feel the power of Mother Earth and steep yourself in all her abundance.

  2. Set intentions: Beltane is a time for setting intentions and planting seeds for the future. Take some time to reflect on your dreams and goals, setting intentions on what you would love in your life. Write them down and visualize yourself achieving them. It's important to bring in not only the visual but the feelings as well.

  3. Celebrate your sexuality: Beltane is a celebration of sexuality and fertility. It is a time to honour and celebrate your own sexuality and sensuality. Explore your body, connect with your desires, and make love, even in the imagination. The brain doesn't know what's fantasy and what's reality so its really about how you would love to be sensual, and feel safe and held while doing it.

  4. Practice self-care: The Beltane season is a time for self-care and nurturing. Take care of your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Practice self-love and self-acceptance, and take time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation.

  5. Let go of the past: The Beltane is a time of transformation and letting go of the past. Release old patterns, habits, and beliefs that are no longer serving you. Make space for new growth and change in your life.

By connecting with nature, setting intentions, celebrating your sexuality, practicing self-care, and letting go of the past, you can use the Beltane season for self-empowerment and growth.

Here's to your growth and expansion into an even more self empowered women!
